Environment Monitoring System

Under Flood

This map is based on the designed NYC underwater environment monitoring system and the flood areas in NYC at different stages during the future sea level rise. This map shows the waterfront area (water quality testing laboratory) and water access points (dropoff and pickup points of the water quality monitors) in the NYC underwater environment monitoring system under different levels of flooding (from mild to extreme) in 50-100 years.

Locating Underwater Objects

The map is based on drones that locate underwater unsual objects and inform police precincts withing a certain distance at specific waterfront public access point locations. From there, each police precinct notify all museums and galleries within the territory of the precinct and depending on the nature of the findings.
