Site Context

The site is on the corner of Butler and Nevins across the street from the Thomas Greene Playground. It’s on the site of a new underground CSO tank for the Gowanus canal. Our project responds to POA #6.4, which discusses about the creation of public space on top of the site. The city will grant us the rights to develop this city-owned land in favor of us agreeing to include a park as part of the development and cover the associated cost.
