Project Background
New York City has numerous outdoor drinking fountains, especially around popular tourist spots. However, the water quality from these fountains is often questionable. Visitors and residents need clean and safe drinking water, so I have designed an innovative solution—a manual water purification drone.
Design Intent
Our goal is to use drone technology to provide a convenient and efficient way to purify fountain water, making it safe to drink. This drone can recharge at subway stations and respond to nearby user calls, flying to specified drinking fountains to purify the water.
