NYC Facilities Map

The New York city’s facilities map indicates the relationship between public facilities, parks, water features, and population. The map also shows each public facility’s type and park’s name. Additionally, the urban facilities are also shown by a blue point, which indicates their position and density. It can be used to support specific urban development approaches in order to provide a variety of accommodations that are appropriate for the population of each location.

NYC Inclusionary Housing Map

The City Embrace Project

The Inclusionary Housing Programs are an essential part of the city planning of NYC that aims to preserve and promote affordable places for low-income families and individuals. With the rising concerns over homelessness and especially the runaway youth, these inclusionary housings can serve to be a better shelter for the runaway homeless youth to find temporary better housings and eventually help send them off to better education, jobs, and homes in the future. Besides the mandatory inclusionary houses, more and more designated areas are ongoing to encourage new developments in the neighborhood, as well as to have a better purpose of caring for the homeless population. The project of mainly hosting runaway homeless youth in the inclusionary housings of NYC comes to be known as the City Embrace.
