Solar Farms and Electric Cable Location

New York state consumed 438 trillion Btu’s of

solar energy as of 2018.

The Hudson Valley was

responsible for producing 100 Megawatts of energy from

solar farms within the region as of 2020, mostly

coming from sites in Orange county.

Hydroelectric Dams and Hudson River Feeder Streams

New Corton dam, 1906

Petroleum Production Plants and Transmission Rails

New York state consumed 1,395 trillion Btu’s of Petroleum produced energy in 2018. The Hudson Valley was responsible for the production of 5,800 Megawatts of power created from petroleum refinery plants. Within the region, Suffolk County is the biggest producer of Petroleum produced energy.

Natural Gas Production Plants and Transmission Pipelines

New York state consumed 1,394 trillion Btu’s of energy produced by Natural Gas refineries. The Hudson Valley was responsible for producing 5,750 Megawatts of energy from the process of refining natural gas. Within our scope New York City is the highest producer of natural gas energy.

P R O P O S A L - The Neo-Gothic Impetus Cities

The Hudson Valley Neo-Gothic Impetus Cities

A network of energy production cities that are the buttress of their internal infrastructure, which act as the producers and connectors to other cities of energy production within the Hudson Valley, creating a renewable energy city feedback loop.
