Due to the pandemic, logistics are required to increase supply and demand at least triple time more than before. However, the marine ports are not enough to offer manufacturers and industries to use. Thus, the chips of vehicles shortage in the United States, so the fossil fuel vehicles amount is not enough in the market and its prices increase. In addition, climate change is worse than a hundred years ago because the population increased, technology developed, and human activities changed. Carbon emission increased 2% more and more in the past centuries. Global warming has caused hotter temperatures and the melt of glaciers to cause the sea level to rise, more severe storms, increased drought, and loss of species. Therefore, human awareness about environmental protection.
According to carbon emissions, most caused by humans burning fossil fuel in transportation, Thus, in recent years, electric vehicles have been developed because they can help to save the energies and gas to reduce carbon emissions.
Therefore, this proposal is designed for the next generation trend in electric transportation and logistics management Inc. that is developed in the Hudson River.
Domestic and International Terminal of Marine Plan in Hudson River
International Terminals are located in Albany and New York City where exists harbor already. The two terminals ship or deliver goods globally.
Domestic terminals are located in each county, Greene, Columbia, Ulster Dutchess, Orange, Rockland, and Westchester, around Hudson river in order to ship or deliver goods faster and more quantity than highway or rails.
According to the electric transportation is a trend in the future, each terminal is designed to have an electric charge station for trucks, vehicles, and electric bicycles.
New York State has built the three trails of bicycles in 2019. The empire trail is along with the Hudson River, but it does not have an electric charge station for bicycles. Thus, the charge station will be built at each terminal.
Also, along with terminal use more often in 2050, each counties design for high technology or electric transportation companies move to the region to produce products and it can be convenient to ship to domestic or international.
Logistics’ Circulation
Lo-Ri’s headquarter is located in Hudson of Middle Ground Flats where is a raw island. The headquarter of logistics Management Inc builds at here will bring a benefit to the neighboring business because the brewery companies exist around the coast, where just across the Hudson River to Smart Island. Thus, the brewery industry can quicker and easier to ship to domestic and to global.
Lo-Ri has muti-transportation to ship or deliver goods.
Tanker/aircraft* - It can ship at least 1000 containers per time and the speed can do 298 mph.
It has two ways to go, drive up to Albany or down to New York City.
Automated Electric Trucks - Lo-Ri builds two bridges to connect to Highway 385 or Broad Street. Trucks can run 24 hours because trucks and warehouses are automated. Also, robots of gantry and cranes, and trucks can charge batteries at a parking lot where outside of a warehouse.
Drones ship domestic goods to neighbors within 40 miles.
